Just wanted a little advice

I go to p@h all the time as i have lots of pets need so much stuff lol anyway every time i go i allways have a look at the piggys as i have to walk past them .

for the past 6 weeks there has been a very cute rex in the normal guinea pig for sale part .

so for the last 6 weeks he has been getting lots of new guinea pigs around him who come then go

i have been trying to work out how he must be feeling he seem like a very chilled out pig really does not seem to want to be the boss.

Do i give him a home and maybe he can friend up with moss or dexter who at the moment live on there own if he does not get on there is always room for another piggy.

but they want £20 for that in its self is not a problem but i dont know i just feel wrong somehow

You will know yourself in your heart what to do for the best. I recently got a rescue boy to go with the girls then also saw a free add piggy a girl whos 3 and been bred from her whole life. She couldn't go in with my three as they are still establishing their roles together and slowly bonding. I had to take her anyway and give her a lovely retirement. Shes in a separate cage but can see the other piggies.

Getting her was totally impractical but I just couldn't leave her. She is a lovely sweet girl who is very trusting which is surprising given her history. I love her to bits and i'm so pleased I got her.

That's how I ended up with my Albie, I was in a pet shop looking for pet goodies and saw these 2 guinea pigs attatcking him and the pet shop lady said she'd have to move him somewhere as it was happening all the time, well my heart melted and I just had to buy him, he looked so vulnerable bless him.
The nice thing about this pet shop is that she only buys from hobby breeders and not people who do it for a buisiness.
The next day I went to a city farm in sheffield and bought Alfie and they've been inseperable ever since, yeah they've fought (and drew blood once) but every time I check on them they're snuggled up together when one runs out for food the other follows and it's lovely to watch.

In a perfect world we would all rescue guineas however it is impossible to control which piggies you fall for. Do what feels right for you x
