one of my piggies seems to be drinking all the time at the moment and he doesnt usually do that, could this be a sign of there being something wrong?
:(

How much is he drinking? Excessive drinking can be a sign of something up with the kidneys / liver I think - is he healthy apart from this?

I had this worry a while back, one of mine started drinking a lot and i was thinking it could be diabetes, does the piggy get watery veg, any change in veg? is it losing weight? is it eating any more than usual? if the answers no then i wouldnt worry, all of mine have started drinking more lately i think they just have phases! xxxxx

he is normal in every other way, healthy and running around just drinking lots and lots of water.

would say if concerned have him checked out, otherwise just keep a close eye on him for any changes of behaviour. are your other piggies drinking a lot too? has there been a change in diet or anything different in routine? hoping things go well. sending hugs and cuddles :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: girls send :-* :-* :-* perhaps your weather could be warming up? like i said hope all goes well. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: just keep an eye on him. if concerned take hime to the vet or put this post in health and illness on this forum and hopefully someone can help you better than i can. good luck. :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

My little boar has recently started drinking quite a bit more than before and I have just put this down to the fact that I have left all the winter bedding in the hutch although the weather has warmed up considerably. Could this be the same reason in your case do you think?

I had this worry with some of my boys!
one was a leaky bottle!it had a small drip from the ball end!
the other one just liked licking the bottle and letting water go everywhere every so often!
Check the bottles first! ;D ;D ;D
