Okay so I have two guineas, my first one I've had for maybe a year and a half now and my second about a year. So I've noticed the past few months that my second guinea pig Peewee is really aggressive with his water bottle he has the tendency to yank it off the cage so I switched his cage with my other piggie now the water bottle he has he can't yank off but he still trys to pull at it. I'm not really understanding the reason for this and he doesn't break them he just yanks it off and leaves it laying. Does anyone else make this type of behavior with their piggies?

My boys don’t pull it off but do have a tendency to be rather aggressive drinkers tugging on it and rattling it! I just assumed they like chewing on the metal but!

Yeah well its just my one guinea that does this and its not that he chews it afterwards he just yanks it down and leaves it.

One of my past pigs used to knock the water bottle off the bars all the time! No idea why! She used to love to grab the spout and shake the heck out of it! Eventually we ended up getting one that attaches to the bars with a spring so she couldn't knock it off. We don't leave them overnight a lot, but once a year for new year's we spend the night at my cousin's and I was always stressed that she was going to knock the water bottle off ten minutes after we left and end up without water for 24 hours (she never did, but I finally switched over the water bottles so I wouldn't have to worry about it anymore!)
