Alfalfa cubes

I put one of these in her cage today she loves it shes been chewing it all day... are they good for anything like keeping her teeth down. Just wondering, either way she enjoys it but just wondering if shes benefiting from it?

Alfalfa products aren't really suitable for adult piggies as it is very, very high in calcium and that can contribute to bladder stones.

shes 3months old? is that an adult , should I not give her these?

Up till 6 months is fine.

After 6 months you can get meadow hay cubes from pampered piggies, if she likes chewing then she may like them too. Mine don't sadly.

Apparently alfalfa is high in sugar as well? I read this in a chick lit so not sure of it's accurancy?

Either way I don't feed it.

My pigs are 4 months old and wont touch any of the alfalfa products ive bought for them!
