I haven't seen alfalfa hay but they sell alfalfa hay cubes- part of the naturals (?) range I think. :)

well i wanted it for my pregnant piggie but i looked and they didnt have it so i got the bales hopefully its still what she needs

If you can't get alfalfa hay, you can feed her a bit dried herbage every day - that is rich in calcium too.

The extra vitamin C and calcium are for the pups - the calcium is obviously meant for the bones. However, a mum on a good normal diet shouldn't have any problems giving birth do well developed babies, so don't panic!

I started my adult piggy life with a pregnant shop sow and had two healthy pups without the backing of a forum!

We have some bags of the Oxbow Alfalfa Hay if that helps, could post out to you on Tuesday when post office will reopen - unless you can contact us before 10am in teh morning and I'll do my best to get it in Saturdays collection

thanks holiday hutch but I'm thinking the babies will be here by then lol thanks again though

No problem, if you had lived nearer I'd have delivered in person to you today. Hope she has an easy birth, will look forward to baby pics:)
