Update on the Gavin-William pairing...unfortunately it didn't work. 
Things were going along ok, not brilliant but not terrible, then a few days ago Gavin decided he'd had enough of little William invading his space and had a real go at him. William was unhurt, but my hand wasn't! I seperated the boys and Gavin is now happier.
William looked a bit 'lost' so I decided to try to bond him with my beautiful, laid back Finn, who recently lost his brother Logan and who was probably a better match. I put them side by side for a while and today put them in the bonding pen.
Finn immediately started grooming William and they snuggled up together. They have been like that ever since! Finn even popcorned and believe me, that's no mean feat with his weight! rolleyes William loves Finn too, so they are now happily in their newly built, all new and clean cage, eating together, sleeping together and chatting like old friends!
