Dindeen
Junior Guinea Pig
I lost my guinea pig Hare last year. He's gone over the Rainbow Bridge. He wasn't able to run around with a little almond - colored guinea pig who was supposed to be his cage mate. A year later, Almond is huge (a bit over 1kg) and has his own buddy, Anise:
Almond on my lap
Always completely supervised when he runs around out of his enclosure; cats are kept out of the room. Almond never bites wires but I don't let him out of my sight.
He's coming over because I called for him.
Yes, this guinea pig comes over when I say "Almond". And he absolutely loves being touched; he purrs a lot and wiggles his bottom.
And this is Anise. I don't let this one run around unless Almond is out too, because Anise does not listen to humans, he follows the older guinea pig only.
