hi everyone

i have a dutch called tony, he will quite happily lay on mine or my partners lap and fall asleep and at other times he will run up my chest and bite at my neck, cheek, nose or ear lobe.

more recently though he is spending more time biting the above mentioned parts than wanting to rest on me, tony is a year old next month and neither me or my parner are doing anything different! he is always brought out with peter our abysinian and they both have the same amount of attention

any ideas would be appreciated
thanks x

My dutch Tim has his restless moments too, when some days he can sleep for hours on my lap. I've always just put it down to him not being in the mood fo snuggles, which is fair enough I guess.
What I don't do however is put him back as soon as he starts getting nippy and hyper, as then he would learn that as soon as he bites, he gets his way and gets put back. Just an idea of mine.
Stroking/massaging behind the ears and up the nose between the eyes are supposedly relaxing spots for pigs - might be worth a try see if it calms him down.
