Thank you so much to everyone who has publicly or privately donated towards Rupert's Appeal and the newly launch Sponsor-a-Piggy scheme. In just half a day, Rupert's Appeal has reached an amazing £101, with more coming through the post as we speak from those who do not use PayPal.

I've been overwhelmed by everyone's support, and Rupert is now being booked in for his op, and we've also got enough to neuter one of the problem boars - so thank you so much! Any additional funds raise will go to the neuter fund as we've several more candidates here that can't be paired up.

Thank you so much everyone - a brilliant example of why this forum is so special!

That's great - will post my promised share as soon as it stops pouring like mad!
 
Vikki is coming in the guinea pig ambulance tomorrow to ferry the pigs to the vets (which is near her house) and the pigs will then initially recuperate at hers :)

Well, Rupert is now at Vikki's and we'll know more tomorrow about when the op will be. Thank you everyone - Rupert spent the day out on the grass and was spread out asleep when Vikki arrived to collect him!
