The boys have been a bit subdued this past week and a half, I don't think they'll ever forgive me for that train ride from London to Wigan :)) but just when I was wondering if I was ever going to get my pair of loons back to normal, tonight happens!

I was feeding them and decided they could have a bunch of parsley, since they both love it. Blitzen (who has somehow managed to matt his butt fur again :( whyyyyy, mister, why do you keep doing that?!) sat next to Comet, generally annoying him by stealing Comet's parsley instead of looking for his own. Some things never changed. But all the while he was staring at me with _that look_ for some reason...staring so intently, he dropped his parsley.

Comet, with the kind of speed he is definitely not known for, promptly grabbed it and ran off with it whilst B was like "&$^%!" and then stared at me again, as if it was my fault he lost his dinner. I found him another bit of parsley. It is good to have them back!

Well at last you have been forgiven @Lorcan! Just don't do it to them again!

Hey, we've been invited back next year! And I do mean "we", apparently the boys were great as houseguests and I'm not allowed back without them lol.

You'd like to think so, but I swear Blitzen's memory rivals mine on occasion. Tbh Comet probably forgot five minutes after we got home, but he really needs his buddy for proper shenanigans, otherwise he just chews on the cage bars at 11am when I'm trying to nap.

That's only happened oh, 3 times this week :/

@Betsy they have one feeding time and that's in the evening (for veggies at least, I'm assuming that's what he wanted) so where he got the idea that 11am was "late" I do not know. Siiiiigh.

@Lorcan neither do I. Mine get breakfast of pellets and dinner of veggies and hay or grass as a snack throughout the day. If I am feeling particulary generous they may get the odd piece of apple or a few blueberries (ooops sorry to mention the 'b' word yours will be wanting them now!)

/sticks fingers in ears "lalalala I CAN'T HEAR YOU."

Heh. Seeing them at the parsley tonight was hilarious. Blitzen ignored his favourite, mint, and they both ignored the lettuce. Nope, the parsley must be devoured at all costs! I was also finally not broke enough to be able to put some bedding down in the second cage (the trip home really devastated my finances so I'd only been able to afford to bed one cage out) and you'd have thought it was Comet's birthday. He loves clean out time. I'm thinking, since I left their run in Haywards Heath, I might try to guineapigproof my bedroom soon, and see if they want to take a run around in there if I open up the cage ramps.

And then I remember Comet's kamikaze antics and wonder if I haven't had worse ideas in my life...
