Today,
I over heard a convosation going with a shop worker and a costermer.
The worker said that they will soon get an adoption area in there.
I was happy with that.
Then I got a bit mad with what else she said.
She went.
If someone brings back a animal we will just put them out back till theres a spare in the adoption.
:tickedoff:
I think that it's outrageous!

Thats what they do though, I've seen it mostly with buns. To be honest at least P@H accept them back. I was in my local dire shop a few months back and the owner wouldn't accept the rabbit back because she was fighting with the girls other rabbit. With hindsight I should if took her myself but I wasn't into rabbits then and knew nothing of them. I left the store before it was sorted out, just hope something was sorted for her!
:'(

I have a little bunny, had her 2 weeks now that P@H would not take back, even tho the owner had paid £49 and was told it was a boy, not it is a girl and has lived with a boy for 3 weeks.....they took it to my local pet shop, who called me to say this bunny is needing a loving home as they are afraid she may be pregnant...i went and got her but no signs yet of her being pregnant will just have to wait

GGGGGGGGGGGGGRRRRRRRRRRRRR P@H...

How old is she Julie? I've just offered to take in a 8 week old lionhead due to human mummy being pregnant. Will keep you posted. :)

They think about 15-17 weeks old, shame she is lovely, just fingers crossed she isnt..

We have a lion head he is lovely, he is about 8 months old, we got him at 10weeks old....

Oh yes i love the loin heads
xx

Hopefully she touched lucky and isn't pregnant. They are sweet lionheads. I have room for one more but I would rehome her probably as don't want four rabbits! ::) ;D

I can, I feel for the lady being pregnant she doesn't want to give her up so I've offered to take her temporary until she can take her back. If not then I'll take her and see what happens from there. :)

Yes, you have offered wot more can we do...hopefully things will work for you O0 ;D

Shes gone to a family member which is fab so the owner can still see her. Owner was thrilled with the offer though! ;D

hope the bun isn't pregnant julie, chances are she is though :( sometimes their 1st litters don't survive :(

At the end of the day, some pet shops wont accept animals back, and its then that they get abused and neglected, or even released into the wild. So we should all be gratefull that P@H accepts them back, and gives them another chance to go on to another loving family.

At the end of the day if there out back of P@H they will have a cage to live, in, food and water. Erin my piggy had to stay out back because tehy had to many males and only one female atleast she was out back in her cage, hy, water and food and not just lumped in a cage of boars.

If P@H refused to take thm as tehre where to adoption bits left do you think most will then go look for a rescue to put them in, i don't thik so either leave them somewhere in the house not ed and neglected or just dumped under a tree somewhere and left for dead, P@H back room sounds better than the last two options to me.

The P@H local to me take animals back and thats better than them being abused or neglected, so I agree with that. :)
