anti-biotic administration times

Does anyone know if you should administer any pig mediction at the same time every day?
For example on a work day I may give the anti-biotic at 6pm, but on a non work day it might be earlier, maybe in the afternoon.

Should I try and stick to a regular time? Does it make a difference?

Please to try to stick to regular times as much as possible in order to get the full benefit of the antibiotic; but do not let it keep you from going out!

It seems common in the US, where drugs prescribed for some animals have the line "q24h", "q12h" or similar on the dosage line, which indicates how often it should be given.
