Oh yes!
It's called 'The Proper Care Of Guinea Pigs' by Peter Gurney...mine's in the post winging it's way to my house as we speak. The lady at the RSPCA said there was no better book on the subject of our favourite furries!

Peter Gurney is great and writes about them with real warmth. I've got Proper Care and Piggy Potions.... both useful, but they are a few years old now so bear that in mind esp. with the medical stuff - although I think most of it is still valid

I've got Piglopeadia, which is much more functional but I found it quite informative!

But the forum is great - so much info!

the best book out there is called "the really usefull guineapig guide"written by myra mahoney published by tfh.
it really is the best on the market :)

As said ebfore any of the Peter Gurney titles are good and informative (some facts are a little outdated now though). Also the Piglopaedia book is fab - a little more pricey than most but IMO well worth the extra ££.

Also this forum is an absolutely MAMMOTH source of information, facts, opinions, and experience!

Thanks! I'm going to get reading........these kind of books I seem to be able to read wholeheartedly from cover to cover....but as for my postgrad college work...well GP books are MUCH more interesting ;D ;D ;D
