any guinea pig shows?

I know this might sound random but is there not any shows on for guinea pigs... like i noticed there was something on in salford a while back? i would like to attend a guinea pig event :)) WHEEK WHEEK
 
The one in Salford was really good quite a few of us went along. Loads of guineas and buns there, all being able to see a specialist vet for tips and advice. There were quizzes and guinea goodies on sale etc. A really good day, especially if you're meeting people you know through the forum and their pigs. It was run by the RSPCA. I think it was Hannah 101 ? off here who was one of the RSPCA volunteers and helped with the organisation. Don't know if these are held regularly/around the country. I'm sure someone will come along and tell you. xx
 
Sounds like there are 2 kinds of shows being discussed here. The RSPCA one sounds very good - they other type some people go to show guineas in categories for how true to the 'breed' they are, the hair, markings, etc. That's the kind we don't discuss on here right?

Yes Lisa, we don't discuss shows, were you show the pigs. The Crufts of the Guinea Pig world.
 
ILGTGP would not have recognised that Salford is up North here near Bolton where Craig lives, so we were talking about the RSPCA Roadshow. xx
 
sorry people didnt put the post up to upset anyone. I mean like the RSPCA roadshow in salford that i noticed had took place and there was a post on here about it. I mean things like that that you could go and show some support. Sorry i didnt think too deep into the post when i wrote it.

i would not go to or support anything that was cruel to animals and thanks for to the people that recognised that x
