poor bobs looking a bit down :(

hes not been right since catching mites again, all hte usual symptoms, plus losing weight, but lately he always looks sad and just lays scratching and generally looks down, his hair isnt shiny, and is really lank and horrible.

i need ideas to cheer him up as it makes me feel so sad for him just looking at him, he looks such a mess at the minute :-\

how do you cheer up a piggy?

Favourite veggies or loads of space to run about. :smitten: Come on Bob pick up for your mummy.

Lez I am concerned about the weight loss, is he going back the vets anytime soon?

yup I'm using corn on the cob for maisy O0 with plenty of new tunnels and cuddles :smitten:

he is spending a lot of time out for cuddles, but he either just sits and looks at me, or tries to puff himself up, which doesnt work well considering his hair is lank and horrible

unfortunately i cant add more tunnels as he is temporarily in a nero 3 for the next 4 days while I'm at my parents. ive modified it as best as i can

when i was worried about maisy she slept on a fleece blanket on my bed ;D not hygenic i know but i was worried, i was awake when she was there though. maybe if hes feeling ill though he would rather be in his cage? :-\ oh yeah what about the hallway then? some extra floortime?

hes been sleeping a lot anyway ;D

ive let him loose a few times but floor time is limited as my 4 year old and 18 month old sisters are very hyper active, and the 4 year old charges around, and is not exactly careful ;D and my mum wont let me shut out my sisters ::)

i give him cuddles for hours but he just looks so pathetic. hes cuddling up to munchie a lot, which he never usually does, people who know bobs temprement know he tries to show himself as the boss pig who never needs help ::)

awwwwwww poor Bob, Duke is sending him manly hugs and lots of piggie grunts and happy vibes for his little pal :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

We hate to hear of our friends not themselves :'( :'( :'(

COME ON BOB :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Lez what about all his fav veggies with just you on your own so he feels like he's being spoiled, he's had the upheaval of the temporary move and the horrible mites >:( so poor little guy is probably feeling a bit down :(

ooooo i tell you what Duke's loving his probiotics he got from Auntie Niki, can you get some and put it on his food? it seems to perk up Duke O0

Poor Bob, is he still having mite treatment? A nice bath with gg melt and shampoo might help his sore skin but not sure how long between mite treatments you have to leave it until he can be bathed :-\

hes already had a bath in the gg products, his next spot on is due on thursday, not that its making much difference ::) :tickedoff:

i left it until a few days after his first treatment before i bathed him

come on Bob perk up for mummy and put that weight back on so that we can admire you looking big and manly in your piccies O0 O0

;D M that made me laugh, might perk him up at the thought of being seen as the manly pig again ;D

ive got some spring cabbage in at the min which both piggies seem to love, so when i get him out later, i might give him some, see if that perks him up. normally id give him parsley to cheer him up but I'm having trouble getting some round here

I have some in my garden but would be no good by the time you got it sorry ;) ;)

shame, oh well spring cabbage it is :smitten:

hes sleeping again at the minute, so ill wait til he wakes up

Parsley lots and lots of parsley says Duke O0 O0 O0 and cos lettuce and grapes O0

(((((((((((((HUGS)))))))))))))) for you and Bob and lots of encouraging wheeks being sent :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:
