Anyone else come across this? Just wondering

Initially I had three piggies, Tommy and Sparky lived together but had to be seperated due to Toms aggression and Harry who was living on his own.

I have now bonded Harry and Sparky and both have put on weight. Sparky I kinda expected as he started putting it on after I seperated him from Tommy but Harrys weight was stable at 1100grammes and had been for months though the vet said he was a tad under weight.

Since he has moved in with Sparky 8 weeks ago his weight has increased by 110grammes and I can only think its as a resulted of been bonded with another boar, he certainly seems to be a more contented piggy.^)

Aw, that's really nice that he's now a happy pig. Suppose they're just like humans that way - if your happy/content you put on the weight too (or at least a lot of people do anyway - me included).

Awww it sounds to me that he is just happy to be bonded with another boar :rose

I have had this happen with mine and I have concluded that it is because they have to share their food so they eat more so they get as much out of the veggie bowl first as possible

or maybe its because theyre happy.....who knows rolleyes

He found out for himself today that hes a bit tubbier because he went under the sofa by going round the back but he tried to get out through the gap between soafa and floor at the side and relised that it was a lot harder than the last time he did it each time he got a little further out he let a funny little squeak as though he was groaning with the effort!:laluot_18:pow-pow
