Anyone heard of giant guineapigs?

i've seen Capybara at the zoo and they are basically giant guinea pigs http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Capybara

never heard of giant domestic guineapigs though it wouldn't surprise me seeing as they have managed to breed giant rabbits.

I know the person in the original link, her local pet shop is called Two by Two and its a horrible horrible place! They sell Gambian Pouched Rats, sparrows, hairless rats, and really young rabbits and guinea pigs! They also stupidly over charge.
So wouldnt surprise me what they sell next!

we've got wild guinea pigs and capybara at Amazon world a wildlife park we have on the Island where they keep penguins its form there the baby penguin was stolen last year, they have all sorts like meerkats and crocs and monkeys of all sorts spiders snakes etc I would love to cuddle one of the biguns its the size of a cat

Wow theyre huge! Imagine havine one of them in the backyard! because they definatly wouldnt fit in a cage lol!
