I've just gone and chopped up a load of lovely fresh veggies for my babies and the wheeking from the living room (Susan being the loudest!) just at the sound of the bags rustling was incredible.. I've popped the bowl into the cage and you would honestly think I hadn't fed them for a month.. They came tearing towards the bowl and are now munching on sprouts, carrot and broccolli..

I could almost see the grins on their faces at the sight of the bowl of veggies :))

(sigh) I love my piggies x)

Hee hee, my 2 girls are the same. When I give them their veg bowl, I can't get it in fast enough :)) My husband says they eat better than him!

Haha, my mum just said only minutes ago 'they get fed better than most people!'
All I was explaining was that I needed to get some more leafy salad! Non-piggeh people just don't understand rolleyes

My boys don't tend to make a lot of noise when they know it's veg time, but they do stir and get out of their beds at the same time everyday cause they know what's coming :)

Mine don't just come out and start wheaking at food! When I come out just to see them they start wheaking to. When it was hot they climbed up on the bars of their cage!:))

My Mother's boars simply do not stop eating (and my junior boar appears to be attempting to eat just as much). If there was a 'National Eating Competition for Guinea Pigs', we would have three potential champions.

My amy runs upstairs and climbs as high as she can sticking her head out of the cage! :)) Tia starts them all off as her wheek is so loud she just stands and screams and the others who haven't heard the rustle of bags start going as well!

that is sooo cute!:<>

I have had some climbers as well! One of them was nearly blind with cataracts, but that didn't stop her from jumping on top of the hat and standing on her back legs! When I wasn't quick enough they'd gnaw on the bars...

My current tribe assembles in front of the living room door, so I can't get in without falling over piggies. mallethead

Telyn got her name "harp" for her wheeking abilities - they are truly ear splitting!

Mine are just the same, at the first hint of veg they start wheeking at the top of their voices and sprinting about the cage. When they think I'm taking too long they run upstairs and line up facing the kitchen so they can put even more pressure on me :(|). Then when I'm finally all ready I have to push them out the way to put the bowl down! Still I always think that all that sprinting about twice a day must be good exercise for them :(|)

my boys dont give me time for bowls to night was their carrot night which made them happy did the big clean out after that plus bathed jakecob & oliver who are now not happy as did their mite treatment as well so jake after all the dry food carrots & hay he sat on top of home & gave the look that said i need a treat cheeky monkey so out came more fresh stuff it'll be the same in the morning only got 2 hands! ben'll be at the bars trying to get out plus bambi will be jumpin up at his bars shouting at me spoiled boys but i wouldn't have it any other way he he he x) my little jake who doesn't talk much but can give out the looks when he wants something x)

My Sid is a carrot freak and a couple of times lately he's jumped out of his cage into the washing up bowl full of chopped veg, grabbed a large piece of carrot and then tried to jump back into his cage whilst hanging onto the carrot for grim death :))

Tell you what I love when I feed mine is, some of them come straight over, grab a piece of pepper or their cucumber or whatever is there to eat and ten leg it to one of the houses. They are so sweet and I also love my piggies loads!

I love veg time as much as they do! Hoggle screams and stares at me doing the veg and Ludo hides until he thinks I have gone then the popcorning begins! :(|)

Hazel especially is like that! She could win prizes for it. It is amazing how those really thin legs could hold their great bodies!

Sometimes they all stand in a line and climb up on the bars and wheek, wheek and wheek!^)
