My dad gave me a bag of co-op mixed leaf salad containing Apollo lettuce and lollo rosso. Just wanted to check they are ok for Guinea pigs as I am such a worrier and would hate to make them ill by giving them something I shouldn't.

Also feel stupid for asking this...but are fine beans same as green beens? My 2 guinea pigs like green beans but wondered if I can also give them fine beans?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

There is no such thing as a stupid question on this forum - we're all learning about the best possible care for our piggies.
Welcome to the forum and please keep asking questions.
Those greens are fine for your piggies - it's iceberg lettuce that's not good for them.

Have a look at the forum care threads - there is some very good information about feeding - what's safe and what isn't, what is OK on a daily basis and what should be fed more sparingly.
Please do let us see pictures - we love piggy pictures.

Just one bit of advice - start a vet fund. You never know when it will be needed. I found that one of the best bits of advice as I was so glad of the fund last year when I had some fairly hefty vet bills.

I agree with @Merab's Slave in that no question is a stupid question. The only stupid thing would be not asking about something you are unsure of and risking a potential mistake as a result. :tu:

Never ever be afraid to ask.

I *think* that fine beans, green beans and French beans are roughly the same thing; I have only just worked this out in the past year and I'm 36.... Still not quite sure what dwarf beans are but I can recognise runner beans!

There is no such thing as a stupid question. Better to be safe than sorry. Everyone on the forum likes to help each other. 🙂
