As a treat for Rose we visit the apple tree if she has to be lifted out of the piggie palace or the run. She gets really excited when we get there and squeaks happily as she picks her leaf. However I am unsure how many is too much. She usually gets 2 a day. One when she is put out into the run and one on the return journey.
 
That sounds a lovely idea, mine are city pigs and just get a trip to the fridge for coriander or babyleaf salad when they need picking up!
I've no idea how many apple leaves are ok but 2 sounds reasonable, I imagine like any leaves you'd want to feed them in moderation...
 
The best thing is that although Rose hates being picked up and always grumbless she is so excited when we walk to the tree and she sits patiently in my hands!
