I need to know this as Cosmo's is the very epitome of Minnie the Minx. Last night she was determined to get behind the cage and onto the shelves of the TV unit the cage is next to, despite no end of barricades. We used quite a few treats getting her back. She then egged Twinkle on into helping her try to move the items blocking her way.

Cosmos' last night was the very devil in disguise. If she could cause mischief she did, from nibbling toes, to chewing shoe laces to climbing on craft work boxes etc.

Then this morning during their run time before work she continued where she left off. Only this time the blocks had been improved. When this didn't work Astro suddenly appeared and as one barricade was the nugget bag he decided the way to move it was to eat his way through.

Finally I gave in and went outside to get them some grass, when I turned round what did I see but Astro sitting in the hall watching me through the open front door. When he saw me approaching he darted back into the living room and all I herd was a cacophony of wheeking.

So I present to you the Turner Herd Public Enemy No. 1

both my abbeys are completely different from the other piggies I have, both want nothing to do with me, hate being caught (and very fast with it), wont take food from my hands, pretend to be a statue when I put food in, hide away from me when I am about but when they are in my hands are the most cuddly piggies in the world.

I wouldnt have it any other way drool:))

Yes Cosmos could give Usain Bolt a run for his money, as for treats she will take them off me. When she has a cuddle she is very fond of giving a face wash (which can include the inside of your nostrils). :))

:)) They have you wrapped around their paws! Pesky piggies.... :))

Haha cute.

My aby is the complete opposite. He is the first to run up for attention. Has taught himself to stand on his back legs to reach out for me with his paws. Loves speaking to me and happily follows me around the room.

He hates being picked up though and I have to catch him but he's completely fine once in my arms.

I love abys (and would love to have one again) because they are so big on pigsonality and full of Mischief - my first three piggies were abys, aptly named Minx, Mischief and Dizzy! Life was never boring...

Abyssinians

I think they are different to other breeds. Karonus your picture is identical to my 'Sammy' I had but died last year. She was very loving, but moody, flighty but tame and definately loved her own company. She was a bit like a stubborn child. She was the worst guinea for clipping nails and used to pull her leg right up before I had even started. It must be in their nature. I would definately have another one.

Mr Cash is a typical Aby, real little monkey-pig when he wants to be! He has a game he plays with me when its time to go in from floor time: he'll sit nice and still like a little angel as a I approach, then dash off at the speed of light the minute my hands get near him. He repeats this about 3 times then will actually let me pick him up. {:|
as long as he finds it amusing...

Cosmos looks like a girl I used to have called Bianca...she was quite the madam! But absolutely gorgeous when she wanted to be :)

I have Tilly the 'devil pig' who's an abyssinian.. she hates being picked up and if she's not happy she will nip you.. we have special gardening gloves to wear when she needs her nails clipping! ;)
But she is still friendly, comes up for food and to say hello..
She's an amusing guinea pig to say the least! I love her for the way she is.
