Hi. Are the C&C cages good?
Do must people get lids for them?
Where is the best place to buy them?
Or does anyone have a better alternative to these?
It will be to hold 2 male piggies. X

They're fantastic and very versatile.

You can get lids for them but most people don't unless they have cats, etc.

It depends where your live. If you Google them there is a website that sells them complete or your can buy the bits separately and build it yourself.

You can buy fancy cages that will hold to boys but I found my C&C cage to be much cheaper.

Yes - they are excellent and very popular.
But they only work inside and just like every otehr cage, they are not the solution for everybody.
If you let us know what country you are based in people will be able to provide links to where they got their cages from.
Your boys will need a cage that is at least 5 grids long x 2 grids wide (or any other configuration of 14 grids), but obviously the bigger the better.
Take a look at this thread here for ideas and inspiration:

I have a C&C and a commercial cage, both have pros and cons but if I was starting from scratch again I'd go C&C for the versatility. Mine changed shape 3 times in the first few weeks! My 5 x 2 with lid ended up as a 3 x 4 with loft.
