Are Pellets/Nuggets Necessary?

No, technically they aren't necessary.
Just make sure they have unlimited hay and some fresh veg containing Vitamin C.

We have several members who don't feed nuggets and there is lots of info in various threads on this Forum.
Just search 'Pellet free diet'.
 
That's good to know as one of mine doesn't eat them, Nicklaus comes over to the bowl when I put them in then turns his nose up and walks over to the hayrack so I only put enough in the bowl for Hayley! If theres food Nicklaus is always the first one over to see what's about 😂
