My son thinks they are. His evidence is as follows.
They have bald patches behind their ears.
Ears that waggle
They have only four toes on the front feet
And only 3 on the back
They have no real eyelids
no nose, just 2 holes
a place where a tail should be
They talk their own language
they jump around like spring lambs
And most of all they are just out of this world. x)
My nephew came up with a great one about Santa last year.
We usually celebrate Christmas at my parents' who live in france (so does my sister and her family). However, last year, I entertained. The plan was that Santa was to call us to say he'd gone to the usual house but we weren't there and therefore would have to come during the night after bedtime. We usually open the presents at midnight in France and we wanted a proper British Christmas so we needed an excuse to open the presents in the morning.
My nephew who was 5 at the time declared on his way over that there must be one Santa for each country becuase otherwise he would have too much work... Good theory.
