Hi, recently I've been taking my piggies upstairs in their fold-out run so that we can spend some time together, and also so that they don't get agitated by the fireworks. Obviously, upstairs is warmer then out in the conservatory, and a lot more sheltered.
I'm getting a bit worried about the temperature changes though. They're moving from warmer to cooler without any warning, and I don't know if that's good for them. Also... fireworks. It's getting towards 5th of November folks, and that mean a lot of loud bangs constantly. I can't take them upstairs all the time, but I'm concerned that they might be alarmed by the bangs.
Thanks

Our pigs don't tend to get upset by the fireworks. Put some music on maybe add some more background noise so the bangs aren't so intrusive if that makes sense.

What sort of enclosure are they in in your conservatory? Could you drape their cage over with fleece to help keep them warm and block out the noise? Do they have nice warm cosies to snuggle into?
You could always pop in a snugglesafe heat pad when you pop them back in the conservatory to keep them warm.
I’m not sure if you can use the feliway plug ins to help relax the piggies. I’m sure someone will have a view on them.

My guinea pigs don't care at all about the illegal fireworks in our neighborhood around the Fourth of July.
