Ordered a 'Baby Alive' from Argos for my daughter and it was ment to come to my work yesterday and guess what........ It didnt turn up! I rang them yesterday and was kept waiting for 15 minutes and then was cut off! So I rang them today and got straight through and they told me it was deiliverd on Saturday at 9.40 but no one was there so they left it round the back of building. We where at work till 12.30 on Saturday and you cant leave it safe round the back as its a carpark! So they must of sent it to the wrong address! I told them a white lie and said it was for my daughters birthday which is tomorrow, they have tried to re order but now its out of stock! Going to give me my money back and send me some vouchers for Laurens 'Birthday'. I hope the person who now has my daughters doll is very happy!
Idiots! Surely common sense tells them where they can & cannot leave it. Someone obviously got a lovely present.
Argos are getting worse, i reserved some grids at a store 20miles away & when i went to collect them a member of staff had cancelled the reservation & there were no more in stock!
I once had a catalogue deliver a Dyson Hoover and leave it on my doorstep :o with a card through the door saying we have left your parcel in your enclosed porch which is in actual fact an open arch in full view of a busy main rd ?
So I phoned and said where's this hoover you've left me then?
Got another one delivered and gave it to my Mum and dad ;D
Just put a note in two houses that are next to the vets to see if they had my parcel. The house that is two doors down have said that next have got it. They had opened it and had see that its a doll and asked them if it was theirs as they have kids. I hope that they have still got it as this was Saturday! They will see the note once they come home from work!
Just had a text from work to say the doll has been handed in! Argos have said that they are putting the money back on my card as they sent it to wrong address! They dont know that next door have given it to me. Feel abit bad and should I own up ?
