Just had to post about this as I got one from Argos today.
I went in for something completely unrelated, but had a browse while I was there, as I have been on the look out for something to waterproof the bottom of my hutch for a while.
This stuff is brilliant, not overly cheap at £19.99 for the large one, but well worth the money.
It has a thick layer of felt on the underside, and a brown water repellent vinyl type layer on top. I imagine the felt layer would really help to insulate the hutch for those that keep their piggies outside.
The large one that i bought was big enough to do the floor of my hutch, and the bottom of my ELC ballpit that i use for their indoor run, and I still have a decent sized piece left over.
I had put a thin sheet of plastic on the bottom of the hutch (the hutch is indoors, and I am really paranoid about the wood getting wet and smelling), but the plastic kept sliding around, even though i tried to staple it. The table protector is perfect, as it is so thick, much thicker that lino, so it just stays in place.
Just thought I would post on here about it, in case anyone else is struggling to waterproof their hutch or ballpit floors.
