Artie has new holiday accomodation

After looking for a while for suitable flat pack type accomodation options for taking Artie on his holiday at Easter with us I decided to get a fold down puppy play pen from Ebay.

Ordered on Wed night and it arrived today, I am impresed with quality and ease of use.

Artie went in it to have a look and will spend time each evening in it so he gets use to it before his vacation.

He seemed to like his initial visit - straight to the food and he had a wash and a kip - sure signs he feels happy.

The pen folds flat in a bag that will easily fit in the car and Artie will travel in a smaller carry bag that he can be taken out of the car for any cafe stops on route.

It will be nice not to be crammed in the back with a cage digging in my side

I did notice we have free wifi at the holiday house so yes there will be loads of pigtures and pawscards I'm sure

He's never been with us yet as he arrived after our hols last year but he is in character very much like a well loved guinea Monty who died last summer - Monty enjoyed 4 family holidays with us so I hope Artie will too.

I looked at cages but just too small and we are limited for space with 3 adults and a guinea in our Golf Plus and all the luggage.

My other animals will go to Molly who runs a small pets hotel - they love it there and I'm sure Wilfred will be happy there too.

This pen does seem very good, i'm impressed

Brilliant! I've got the pink version of this for mine, for when I clean out their C & C. Took me a while to work out how to fold it back up lol rolleyes

Just mind the inside bottom edge, mine have recently taken to eating the black plastic edging rolleyes

I did think of taking Bertie away with us. But my sister loves him so much I think she would be disappointed not to have him for a week!
