Hey everyone,

I lost my boy two months ago, and I had him cremated. As the ashes are already packaged (inside the box pictured), I don’t want to disturb him, so want to lay the package flat in an urn. I can’t seem to find one big enough to do this. I’m just wondering what other owners have done- have you emptied the ashes into an urn as opposed to leaving them in the package from the crematorium? Any advice would be really helpful, so I can put him to rest somewhere comfy next to his brother’s house.

I am sorry for your loss.
I am also sorry I can't answer your question as I don't have my piggies cremated, they are buried in patio pots in the garden.
I hope someone will be along soon who can answer your questions.

I have removed the ashes of any of the few piggies of mine that I had cremated for whatever reason and usually sprinkled them in the garden (opting for a sprinkling container) or I added them to my current large burial planter in the garden (I have too many piggies in order to have them routinely cremated) to rest with their mates, so I cannot help you.

You may however find that there is very little volume in those remains and that you may feel ultimately happier with choosing a receptacle you really like more than one that fits the crematorium container. If you wish your companion piggies to ultimately rest together as well, you could choose a suitable container you can add to?

Or have a suitable personalised box made specifially for you?
