Piggies reach full maturity at about 12-15 months old. That is also the age when their hormones finally settle down. It is a long slog, sorry!

Hormones usually come in spikes - you will certainly notice when they wake up and there will probably be some hairy periods along the way. Many people find that the worst period is between 8-10 months old.
