I have just been to buy Aubiose from my usual shop and they now only stock Aubichick (made by Aubiose). I bought a bale as I was running so low. It is cheaper than the Aubiose (£8 rather than £11 for a 20kg bale) but is much finer - does anyone have any experience of using it? Thanks :)

I hadn't even heard of it til now. Will be watching for people's experiences

I’m not familiar with it either. However, a quick google search found a couple of happy reviews from familiar names from this forum ;)

It is way softer than aubiose,it is alittle flyaway, but the absorbency is as good as aubiose,it has a consistency of megazorb, but not dusty at all.it reminds me of a similar texture to sand ! hence i put aubiose underneath aubichick,to give the bed firm support.i can source it at £9.99 a bale ! :)

That's great all, thank you. I will give it a go! I suppose I was a bit worried about it getting stuck in hair etc. or even being a bit too fine and dusty. If it is okay I am of course much happier with the price! :)

Hey that's my review! :) See, I like to make stalking easy ;)

I use Aubichick a lot, it's fab. It's the bedding i would want for myself! Feels soft as cotton wool underfoot, very nice. Not dusty at all though. However it goes everywhere if you use it in certain set ups, would recommend it for deep based set ups.
It didn't stick to the Peruvians or Aaron's bits at all, had zero issues with it.

Great to hear this :)

Already am a happy hippy mate! Lol, nah I was only joking. I'm sure Boss Hogg (YEE-HAW!) has better stuff to be getting on with.
Gonna go watch an episode of Dukes now, the song's in my head now..

Just the good ole' boys / Never meanin' no harm / Beats all you never saw, been in trouble with the law since the day they was born / Straightenin' the curves / Flattenin' the hills / Someday the mountain might get 'them, but the law never will / Makin' their way the only way they know how / That's just a little bit more than the law will allow / Just the good ole' boys / Wouldn't change if they could / Fightin' the system like a true-modern day Robin Hood.

Bo & Luke: [shout] Yee-haw!

Apologies for derailing this thread 4pigs, just be glad you can't hear me singing though...:shh::shh::shh:

Just a quick update for those of you that are interested! I have been using the Aubichick and it is fine - actually it is a lot softer than the Aubiose and the piggies seem to like it so I think I will be buying it from now on. The fact that it is cheaper too is an added bonus! :)

Thanks for the update. I’ve resorted to a fine layer of carefresh over the Aubiose for now which my piggies love (they even popcorn when I get the carefresh out :)) )
But I'm going to give aubichick a go once I’ve run out if my current stock!
