Hello,
My little baby bumble will be three weeks this Sunday but he has already started humping his mum! I have seperated them but now baby bumble is crying and screaming constantly he has been doing it for about an hour! I have tried to introducing him to my older boars but they were not happy and he ended up with a head covered in wee!
What can I do?
Xx

awww i dont the answers sorry, but i just wanted to say i hope little Bumble gets through it, ah bless x

Oh bless him, not got any advice either but hope he is ok, is he in a cage alongside his Mum?

It is heartbreaking, poor little boy! Can you keep him right next door to mummy and get a safe soft toy (remove any glass eyes etc.) for him to cuddle up with?

What are your plans with Bumble? Would it be a better idea of finding him a new adult friend from a rescue as soon as possible or look for a new home with a new friend for him? I am aware that these are difficult decisions for you.

Hi everyone thanks for the advice
I have put him and Edward in a new cage and so far so good! Quite a bit of rumbling and humping is this normal? But so far no aggressiveness should I just leave them together now? Bumble has stopped screaming for his mum now and is sharing a carrot with Edward. I really hope it stays this way! Is there anything more I can do to make them stop humping and rumbling? Poor bumble looks so tiny next to Edward!
Thanks
Sophie x

Humping and rumbling is fine. It will eventually stop; don't try and stop it; it's part of them sorting out who is boss.

Bumble and Edward ate really good friends now and baby bumble is the boss! Haha! They are cuddled up together so they will be fine fingers crossed!
Thanks everyone for your advice!
Xx

I'm glad baby Bumble is ok. I have a Bumble too! He is also causing his mummy much stress at the moment...must be something in the name lol.

Hi, it was his mum he was humping, he's not neutered so that means more babies could come so it had to be stopped... ;)

Glad you got it sorted :)

No, If you look you will see that when I wrote that it was only, erm, boar-on-boar humping.

I'm glad they are settling down quickly.
