How much are baby guinea's supposed to drink?
Mine are 8 weeks and barely touch their water ( in a bottle on side of cage) which i clean regularly. I give them tomatoes and cucumbers, pepper so they get some wetnees which they like.

Hi!

Guinea pigs need to learn how to drink; if they haven't had the chance to learn it from their mums and aunties, they can take longer. The individual water intake varies and also depends on how much fluid is in the food. You can put a little bowl with water under the water bottle, but as it get soiled very quickly, please change it twice daily. Do not add anything to the water.

Please be aware that you should feed tomato and any fruit no more than twice weekly, as to much or twoo often can cause painful sores on lips and in the mouth, which in turn can lead to a fungal or bacterial infection (cheilitis). You can find out what veg they can eat: https://www.theguineapigforum.co.uk...veg-and-fruit-list-with-vitamin-c-grading.42/

Ok thanks for the heads up on the tomato! Ive just sent the other half out to get a few different veggies for them :)
