Baby himis! So tempted!

Ooooh... I'm really wrestling with my inner grown-up! I went shopping this morning and the bus drove past the pet shop window and guess what I saw? BABY HIMILAYANS! I controlled myself for all of 15 minutes and then ran in to drool over them. There are 2 little himi sows - they are so pretty, they have lilac points (not sharp enough for pedigree, obviously) and they are soooo cute!

I have always wanted a himi in the herd and I just don't know what to do next. I had planned on getting a neutered boar, the lady in the shop says she often gets himi boars but now I don't know what to do. If I wait for a himi boar she may never get another one, and then I have to risk neutering him, but if I get a little himi girl Fluffkin might be mean to her. What should I do? Please help!

note: I have two bonded 10 month old sows in a 5x2 C&C cage if that helps

I really dont know, it would be sad to split the sisters up too :( and 5 x2 is the same size as mine, ok for 3 but a tight squeeze for 4.
You could ask the pet shop lady to keep your details and contact you when she has a himi boar come in?
 
Yeah... that is true about the sisters. :(

BUT I have offered to help hayleyandjohn and rehome a boy for her if she can bear to part with one, which is probably better than being selfish and buying pretty babies. Always wanted to adopt. 0:)
 
Oh wow, I wouldn't have been able to resist, I would love a himi in my herd ;D
 
Can imagine how you're feeling but hopefully the 2 himis will find a home together and you can give a rescue a home.

I'd love a himi too, they are gorgeous.
 
no such thing as "lilac" points, they are either very badly marked or their points didn't arrive yet ;)
 
I'm sorry, I tend to use descriptive words rather than precise breed colours. They actually look lilac. Like my old lilac-point siamese, Lucy.
