Ok, so, a few hours ago my piggy gave birth to three more. And while I watched one of them, it went to the side of cage and started climbing up it. Suddenly, it fell back, but landed on its feet facing the wall! It was so strange. Has anyone else ever seen this? I will try to take a video if it happens again.

Please make sure your female piggies are now separated from your males as they can get pregnant within hours of giving birth and the forum policy does not permit intentional breeding

All of my males are now castrated. The baby came along because I sexed them incorrectly. I wouldn’t breed a piggy intentionally.

Babies exploring and having their little mishaps is normal, even if you get amusing situations.

Please take the time to read our baby and mother care guides.

Make sure that any boars are 6 weeks post-op and remove them asap if they start chasing mother or any other sows straight over the top of your newborn babies in their pursuit.
