i’ve been noticing rough patches on my guinea pig. it seems like he’s itched off the fur in these 2 spots. any ideas on why this is happening and/or how to help?

It would be best to get them checked by a vet in case there is a skin condition going on.

Hi

It is not quite easy to spot where on the body the bald patches are exactly but if they are not around the nipples (which both genders have) and are not symmetric on both sides of the body, then please see a vet for a hands-on diagnosis for either a fungal infection or skin parasites of some sort and appropriate vet strength products. We can't diagnose from a picture and strongly advise to not home treat on spec or with too low dosed wide spectrum pet shop products.
