Well... I just kinda fold it over the bale. The bale is the square shape and the duvet cover just kinda folds over it. I lift off hay in flat "cakes" and the bale holds it shape...

Another solution would be to get a box from an appliance store and slaughter it to just fit a bale in a duvet cover. But the bag is not expensive, really... but if you can get something just as servicable for free, why not?
 
I think I will have a look and see if I can work something out for free. Otherwise it will have to go on my Christmas list and the family can all think I'm barking. :))
 
yes... I think that if you put that on your christmas list your family is entitled to thik you've lost at least some marbles :)) But only because they can't possibly grasp how practical it would be to store hay :)

My marbles started rolling downhill some time ago. :)) I do love a nice piece of storage. If I go to Ikea I start stroking all the lovely cupboards and boxes... drool
