Barbering Observation

I have noticed that Archie likes to barber my straight hair, just quietly chomping on the ends when I don't notice.
But for any curly/frizzy hair he encounters, he rips it out from the roots (so painful) and then eats it.
He never pulls out my normal hair from the roots, even though he has access to the top of my head.

Anyone else noticed anything like this? Do guinea pigs barber fuzzy guinea pigs more savagely?
 
That is odd, we gave never had a barbering pig. Hopefully you'll get some replies from people who have any experience in this.
 
I've never had a piggy eat my hair but then as its 99% fizzy/curly maybe thats why :))
