bargain salad!

last night I nipped into the Co-op for some bread, and they had the bagged salad reduced to 25p, and some shredded cabbage for 32p, so I practically cleared the shelf.

As I was queueing to pay, the woman behind was just staring in my basket, so I said "I keep guinea pigs". She said "I was dying to ask why you were buying so much and would have been wondering all night!"

It certainly made me smile, and the treat of salad made the girls smile!

Haha I get it every week with the amount of carrots I buy! I don't give them all to the pigs and buns as I snack on them as well but I must buy about 9 bags! drool |)

i do it at work, i buy about 10 bags of ruby salad and other veggies in one go, plus every veg that piggies can eat off the sale bit! lol, most of the cashiers know about my piggies though, and they rolleyes at me! but i think they understand that i'd rather they ate like royalty and me on baked beans rather then me eat like royalty and them on crappy food

lol when i buy bags of mixed lettuce and a long cucumber people probably think i'm soo healthy lol.
