Just a quick question I should probably know the answer to if someone could help please?

Last week I ran out of coriander (which Biscuit and Toffee have for breakfast every day) and I gave them some basil instead. They loved it, and I'm wondering if I can give it regularly or if I should restrict it to an occasional treat? Also rocket - I usually have this in the fridge but only feed it occasionally. Would it be ok to give it more often?
Thanks!

Rocket is fairly high in calcium if I recall correctly so you would to feed that sparingly.
Basil is fine but it’s not something I’d personally give more than twice a week

Could I ask why? Basil is probably the foodstuff (other than hay of course) I give my two lads the most.

Coriander is the herb which contains least calcium so is fine for daily feeding but the others are best fed in rotation due to the calcium levels but also for variety (parsley being the herb containing the most calcium so is a once a week herb)

:agr: It’s all to do with preventing bladder issues by way of calcium build up. Coriander is safe to give daily. Basil and rocket are higher in calcium so should be fed sparingly and not daily.
