Bath time, first one for Mina and Lola

As there would be New Year's Eve visitors who would want to cuddle the piggies I gave them a much needed bath just beforehand. Carmilla has been through all this before, look at the resigned face, but she scrubs up well!

Carmeline is also an old hand at all this, very relaxed.

Dripping dry before towelling....she was actually chuckling by this point...

Then has a look round (chuckling lots and enjoying herself as this is new territory for her)

Final drip dry after rinsing and she never stopped chuckling the whole time!

You're piggies are beautiful. mine are nightmares at bath time. Mum ends up restraining them while I shampoo but the whole process takes ages and includes them trying to run away!

Aww your piggies are so cute. I am so surprised at how much they love baths! Mine hate them.
 
Beautiful and so well behaved :))
I have bathing down to a bit of a fine art now and OH thought I'd lost the plot yesterday when I made two holes in a bin liner stepped into it and pulled it up to my armpits :{ His face was a picture until I got the piggy bathing accessories out :))

Lola, would you come and reasure Cupcake that bath time is chuckle time as she's a real drama queen and could learn a lot from you. Tufty likes the carrot bakes that you sent them all.

Glad I'm not the only one that drip-dries them before toweling them off rolleyes
It's the way they dangle there like "Why are you doing this to me..."

Aww it's a shame we had people round or I would have come to yours and cuddled nice clean guinea pigs. I can't keep Charlotte clean no matter what I do. Grubby little monkey that she is.
 
The bath was really because Carmilla was no longer white around the rear end at all...she is also a grubby little monkey!

I'm glad my current lot are ok with baths. I've done it wrong before now though, the water must be warm! One lovely girl once launched herself right out of the belfast sink and almost over my shoulder when I put her bottom into cold rinsing water. I got very very very wet! I've also forgotten the drying towel too and wandered through the house with a dripping piggie back to the conservatory (where they live) leaving a trail of water behind us... And I've been bitten. And cursed verbally by piggies. On the whole, I think this current four are very nice to bathe!
