I LOVE THIS FORUM! lol :))

Basically, I think Bailey is due a bath! What's the first one like, will she hate it, or love it? What should I use? What are the things I need... I have a special basin for her, so that's not a problem. Do I need shampoop, seperate towel? What kind of shampoop do I need? How often should they be bathed?

I have bathed a gpig before but I can't exactly remember as it was more than 2 years ago! lol

Thanks in advance,

Lyssie xx :)

I use GG shampo too. Be very careful not to get water in eyes, ears etc I put an old towel in my bath but dont put any water in it and use a jug with warm water in a basin next to me to wet and rinse. They get scared in water deeper than mid leg. I make sure the room/s are warm and have 3 warm towels ready (if Bailey is short haired you may not need 3).
Once shampooed and rinsed gently, wrap in a towel and dry. Swap for a dry towel and repeat then dry off with a hairdryer on a low setting. I have a box with a towel in it next to me incase they get too wriggly, I then finish off drying them while they are in the box :))

Brilliant!
I can't order from online as I only have a cash card...
Is it alright to get a specific Gpig shampoop from P@H?
I'm mostly worried that it wont be safe,
I coupld possibly use my mums card online...

Thank you for your advice,
I will get a box, a couple of towels, the shampoop!
Then hopefully I am set to go!:)

How much should I be feeding Bailey every day?
A bowl or two, more? Do I need set feeding times?
Am I overfeeding her? She poops a LOT
She's not overweight! I feed her those brown pellets and hay!
I know they should always have hay (Bailey always has hay)
but what about the pellets?
I sometimes give her frest veg, broccoli, sprouts, carrots...

HELP!

xx

I think most people on here (me included) tend to free-feed (always available) our piggies hay and pellets, and give them fresh veg at least twice a day. They eat lots, and they poop lots, and it's all good.
