Do all guinea pigs have to have a bath? What do you use to do it and how often should you do it?

Thankyou :))

I washed Redemption twice so far; once when I got him, and once this week, each time was to get urine out of his hair. I have washed Salvatore twice because he was so dirty the day I got him, and then to help clear up his dandruff from malnutrition when his skin started getting better. I have some no-tears baby shampoo and that works quite well. I would like it better if it were unscented.

I only was Mojo and smudgy when they start to get whiffy as they stink up the house.
So that would be about every 2/3 months
I have byofresh small animal shampoo which sopposidly (spelling) smells like aloe-vera but it doesn't but it still smells nice and makes smudgy smell like cherry bakewells.

I've probably bathed mine about 6 times in almost 3 years so it isn't something you need to do very often, unless you have extremely smelly, dirty piggies :)) Long haired piggies probably need it more often especially if they like to lie in their toilet.

I have some lovely shampoo from gorgeous guineas x)

Boars can get dirty grease glands, just above where a tail would be, but this can be cleaned seperately without the need for a full bath.

I probably wouldn't suggest bathing outdoor piggies at this time of year as if they weren't dried completely they would catch a cold. Even indoor piggies need to be dried carefully as they could still get a chill depending on how warm/cold the house was.
