Bathing Your Piggy?

Hi Everyone
I just wondered what you all bathe your piggies in?
I have some mild cat/dog shampoo but dont know if this can be used for piggies.
If not what do you suggest I use?

I have a bottle of small animal shampoo, however I only ever bathed one of my piggies once as he had a very greasy grease gland.

Do you need to bath your piggies?

We use gorgeous guineas. I tend to get the trial sizes as we use Just for boars and Posh and Go which is good for long haired piggies.

I could do with giving him a bath really, he is a bit smelly since I got him from the rescue, but its probably due to being around other guinea pigs etc x

I have had the larger size bottles but ended up throwing some away as they have a short use by date.

Plus using the trial sizes means you can have a bigger variety. My boys have just for boars and the girls have had posh and go and lavendar which is lovely.

My guineas love Gorgeous Guineas shampoos, they also smell fantastic! Well worth it and in my opinion the only really safe products to use with a guinea.

For grease glands, put a little bit of Swarfega on the greasy area and leave for 5 mins before washing, comes off a treat |)

at the moment lice n easy pets at home have a shampoo i have used also gorgeous guineas have lovely ranges. The skinnies are bathed in hypoallergenic baby bath.
