Hi! So I’ve seen a bunch of different information everywhere and I figured I should get help from the forum. How often should I bathe my piggies? This isn’t urgent at all I just need to know for the future.

You shouldn't routinely bathe them. A healthy piggy will keep themselves perfectly well enough clean and routinely bathing isnt good for their skin.
You only need to bathe them if they are very dirty or for a medical need.

I give Pretty Patsy and The Ever Beautiful Betsy the occasional bum bath when necessary as they have long fur and it tends to get a bit matted with poop and wee. I don't think I've ever given Shy Little Meg a bath and she's over 5 years old.

I give Violet, who's almost 8, bum baths with a warm cloth as she can't clean herself properly anymore due to her arthritis, and she sits in her own wee. However, my almost 4 year old Daisy and Oscar (I've never bathed him) rarely ever get baths. They manage to keep their white fur clean all on their own 🥰

Awesome! Both my piggies are young short haired girls so I guess I don’t need to bathe them! I know it can’t strip them of their natural oils which keep them healthy so I was kinda worried. I’m glad I don’t need to bath them tho!
