According to my vet (and another at the practice) Guinea Pigs like ribena and it disguises the taste of baytril well.

I have heard this a lot too. But unless the pig really loves ribena and really will not swallow straight oral meds, it isn't worthwhile at all. Better to syringe in the smallest amount of liquid necessary rather than dilute it and have to work to get even more liquid in the pig!

I have found that .01 ml of Orange Juice added into the syringe after the baytrl and then shaken works - it also gives them added vitamin c.
