Would it be ok to keep pregnant, nearly term, sows on sawdust or would you switch it to fleece for the birth?

I always switch to vetbed/fleece for the births, for the actual bed area, then normal for running around in outside. xx
I would switch to fleece.
New born babies won't get any dust in their lungs and it is cleaner and a lot quicker to change, as there is always a smell from birth fluids and blood which you want to get rid of the day after the birth. However, with fleece, to top layer will stay dry!
