Adult Guinea Pig
Does anyone use bedding that includes baking soda? I use SoPhresh as the base in their litter (picture attached) which according to the company contains a "dash" of baking soda. I put Oxbow shredded paper bedding on top of the SoPhresh and then hay on top of that so the bedding which includes baking soda is several layers down. However, I just read something about baking soda being deadly for guinea pigs. Should I switch brands to something that doesn't include baking soda? If so, I was thinking back 2 nature because it says there's no additives or chemicals. Bummer is that I currently have 60 pounds of SoPhresh.
