It really depends on what suits you. You can use (dust extracted) shavings, paper bedding, aubiose, biocatelet. Fleece. There are several options with regards to the disposable bedding. Have a read of the guide below.

It is personal preference, I love using fleece but others prefer disposable bedding. As long as they are kept clean and comfortable it doesn't matter which.
 
It’s such a personal thing and dependent upon where you keep your piggies - there isn’t a best type of bedding really
Mine live in my shed so I use snowflake softchip as the absorbent layer and then top it all with hay.
