Senior Guinea Pig
This time it (thankfully!) wasn't with my pigs. I went with my brother, whos girlfriend bought two little boy pigs last weekend (yes, she bought them... but I'll save that rant for another time :x pow-pow)
Anyway, I'd had a text message earlier asking for help as one of them had developed a lump on the side of his face. Sounded suspisiously like an abscess to me so I suggested they take him straight to the emergency vets and I meet them there. He's only about 9 weeks old, so is a tiny little thing, but the lump was the size of an olive, huge! and it was right underneath his little ear
We went in to see the vet and he confirmed it was an abscess and gave it a squeeze. A jet of gunk shot out and hit him square on the forehead
:red Poor guy swears that had never happened before and I bet he couldn't do it again if he tried! He gave the little pig an anti-biotic injection and cleaned up his face and we were on our way 
I can see us having a poorly visitor for the next few days and my brother's girlfriend did not seem happy about syringing him medicine...
I just hope it clears up okay. It was such a massive lump for such a little pig and he screamed the place down when it was being cleaned. He did seem much happier afer it had been drained though and happily pottered about the vet table
